When we decided to have our wedding in Mexico, one of our biggest worries was whether we would be able to find a photographer abroad whom we could entrust to capture our most precious memories. Ironically, our biggest worry turned into one of the best decisions we could have made. Carlos was wonderful from beginning to end. In the beginning, he took the time to get to know us and our relationship, via email.
He showed a genuine interest in what mattered most to us, and this allowed him to understand what we wanted from our wedding photographer. Throughout the months leading up the wedding, Carlos also did a wonderful job of keeping in touch with us. He was always just a quick email away, responding immediately every single time. He also went out of his way to try to qualm my nervous energy from afar, assuring me that everything would go well and there was no need to worry. When Carlos actually arrived at our resort, I couldn’t help but completely adore him. He was so warm and did such a great job capturing our memories without ever feeling intrusive–even blending in well with all of our family and friends. And, the best part of all is that we are completely smitten by all of the images he captured! He images reveal the love between the two of us, the wonderful emotions written all over the faces of our loved ones, and the beautiful scenery, and so much more. Photography is very important to us for our wedding. Both my father and my husband love to take photos and I always enjoy looking at the beautiful moments captured. So we spent most time looking for wedding photographers. After looking at hundreds of portfolios, we chose ARTEA Collective, who presents very warm and colorful wedding shoots, and also has a good pricing. We also hope to find someone that has a great personality and fun to work with. And we find everything in Carlos. It went very smooth on our wedding day. Carlos has great ideas, and has been very devoted to his work. My father thinks Carlos looks ‘Xi Qing’ as in Chinese, which means a very special look that makes people feel happy, and it is also a particular word referring to the atmosphere of happy events such as a wedding.
We received our photos in usb driver, very stylish tied together and put in a rustic bag. It’s very joyful when we go through all the photos, a wonderful way to re-enjoy the moments on the wedding day.
