Kissed by Fire. My take on love outside an epic Lava Cave

What can I say? I’m a huge fan of Game of Thrones. Last month I went on an adventure to the Land of Ice and Fire to chase all the beautiful spots of Iceland. Today, I want to tell you this particular story that happened outside a small lava cave near lake Mývatn in North Iceland, Grjótagjá.

This cave is best known for featuring a geothermal hot spring in its depths, and also for being the place where Ygritte and Jon Snow make love right after one more “You know nothing, Jon Snow”, remember that one?

Coming out of the cave I met Carmen & Javier, and maybe it was my love for Game of Thrones or the amazing setting, but I felt so inspired to capture their love amid magnificent landforms. And they were really kind to let me portray their unique bond.

This is the part that thrills me the most about travelling, that it allows me to behold epic sceneries and meet amazing people that are happy to share their love with one kind stranger.

Special shout out to Carmen & Javier!
